Braintree: Tied up for funds

Team work became the name of the game as part of a Braintree hair salon's Children in Need fundraising.

Advanced designer Clint Galley, spent Friday, November 15, tied to an assistant while he cut and styled customers' hair in a bid to raise money for the children's charity.

The Feathers hair salon in George Yard also raised money for the charity in the run up to Children in Need day, with collection boxes in its salon and by raffling a teddy bear.

Mr Galley said: "It was a lot of fun and we raised about £100. All of the customers were a bit surprised when they saw us, but they all had a good laugh about it."
