Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the Bus Lane, via Urbis Romanae, Myland in the Borough of Colchester as specified:
Temporary bus lane suspensions Road Description
Via Urbis, Romanae, Myland
i. Northbound Carriageway Nearside Lane


ii. From a point 4.5 metres north of the junction with the A134 for a distance of 117.6 metres to a point 2.9 metres south of the stop line of the Toucan Crossing


iii. From a point 2.7 metres from Toucan crossing for a distance of 350.2 metres to a point 86 metres from the stop line for the unnamed road to the west.


iv. From the junction with the unnamed road to the west for a distance of 107.6 metres to the stop line for the junction with the unnamed road to the east.


v. From a point 3.6 metres north of the unnamed road to the east for a distance of 100.5 metres to a point 3.8 metres from the stop line with line Pegasus Crossing.


vi. From a point 9.1 metres north of the stop line with the Pegasus Crossing to a point 82 metres from its junction with Axial Way for a distance of 175.1 metres.

Southbound Carriageway Nearside Lane
i. From a point 57.3 metres south of its junction with Axial Way for a distance of 211 metres to the stop line with the Pegasus Crossing.

ii. From a point 15.3 metres south of the stop line with the Pegasus Crossing for a distance of 51.5 metres to a point 47.4 metres from the stop line of the unnamed road to the east.

iii. From the junction with the unnamed road to the east the stop line for junction with the unnamed road to the west.

iv. From the junction with the unnamed road to the west for a distance of approximately 588 metres to the A134 Northern Approach Road.

The temporary bus lane suspensions are scheduled to commence on 8th July 2018 between the hours of 16:30 to 23:59 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and are required for the safety of the public and to facilitate traffic flow during the Little Mix Concert. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 8th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months. (Sir Isaacs Walk, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Suspension of One Way Restriction) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Sir Isaacs Walk, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Trinity Street for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction.

2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in Sir Isaacs Walk, Colchester as detailed in 'The Colchester Borough (Culver Street West, Trinity Street and Sir Isaac's Walk, Colchester) (Traffic Regulation) Order 1996 for the duration of the closure.

The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 31st July 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03154787652 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of supply pipe to customer works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Culver Street West, North Hill, Middleborough, Balkerne Hill, Maldon Road Roundabout, Southway, Headgate and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 12th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hall Road, Mount Bures) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984._
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hall Road, Mount Bures in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Old Barn road for a distance of approximately 95m in a westerly direction (10m either side of railway crossing). The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2018 for 1 night (works to take place between 23:50 - 07:10), or where stated on a valid permit (KL735SUD-52-61-210718 -Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacing pedestal barrier arms at level crossing work is undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, Peartree Hill, Lower Road, Sandy Hill, Fordham Road, Wormingford Road, Plummers Road, Moat Road, Ponders Road, Halstead Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Winters Hill, Layer Marney) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Winters Hill, Layer Marney in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Clears Road to its junction with Roundbush Road, a distance of approximately 640m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th July 2018 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2252722 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Smythes Green, Maldon Road, Roundbush Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 28th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hythe Hill, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hythe Hill, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Maudlyn Road to its junction with Hythe Quay, a distance of approximately 134m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd July 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2245248 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Hythe Quay, Maudlyn Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Madeira Road, Holland On Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Madeira Road, Holland on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Hazlemere Road to its junction with Kings Avenue, a distance of approximately 340m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th July 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2250924 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Hazlemere Road, Kings Parade, Kings Avenue and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 28th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Queen Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (High Street, St Botolphs Street and Priory Street, Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of One-Way) & (Priory Street, Colchester) (Introduction of a One Way) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Queen Street,
Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Culver Street East for a distance of approximately 80m in a southerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of High Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Queen Street for a distance of approximately 50m in a westerly direction (bus lane) as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (High Street, North Hill & Middleborough, Colchester) (Bus Lane) Order 2014'

3. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction on Queen Street, Colchester as detailed in 'The Borough of Colchester (Various Streets) (One-Way) Order, 1963' for the duration of the works.

4. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction on St Botolphs Street, Colchester as detailed in 'The Borough of Colchester (Various Streets) (One-Way) Order, 1963' for the duration of the works.

5. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction on Priory Street, Colchester as detailed in 'The Colchester Borough (Priory Street) (One Way) Order 1975' for the duration of this closure.

6. To temporarily introduce a one way restriction for the entire length of Priory Street, Colchester a distance of approximately 500m.

The multiple restrictions are scheduled to commence on 22nd July 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03054371243 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst water main disconnection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via East Hill, Brook Street, Magdalen Street, St Botolphs Circus. The Order will come into effect on 12th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Landermere Road, Thorpe Le Soken) (Temporary Introduction of 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30 mph speed limit in Landermere Road, Thorpe Le Soken in the District of Tendring from its junction with Lonsdale Road for a distance of approximately 515m in a northeasterly direction. The speed limit reduction is scheduled to commence on 30th July 2018 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231002284
- Barconn). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The speed limit reduction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while construction of permanent access for residential development works are undertaken by Barconn.

The Order will come into effect on 12th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(North Lane, Marks Tey) (Temporary Introduction of 3.0 Tonne Weight Limit) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of North Lane, Marks Tey in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 1030m south of its junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a southerly direction. The suspension is scheduled to commence on 3rd July 2018 for 236 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201BR03191
- Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The suspension is required for the safety of the public.

An alternative route for HGVs is available via Brook Road, New Road, Ford Street Hill, Halstead Road, Halstead Road, Roundabout, Essex Yeomanry Way, Western Approach, London Road, A120, Station Road, North Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 3rd July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Yorick Avenue, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Yorick Avenue, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Melrose Road for a distance of approximately 198m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd July 2018 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2253628 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Melrose Road, High Street, Yorick Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
