Order 2017
The above Order made on 11 August 2017 if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map for the area by:-
Adding a length of public footpath from the Western bypass, south of the Tollgate Centre at point B on the order plan, in a generally easterly direction along the northern boundary of the former quarry, for a distance of approximately 563 metres to Tollgate Road. The width of the way is 5 feet or 1.52 metres. The route is not maintainable at public expense. A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Colchester Borough Council Offices, Rowan House, 33 Sheepen Road Colchester, Essex CO3 3WG and at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, where copies will be available on request at a charge.
Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Director for Essex Legal Services, Essex County Council, Seax House, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1QH, to arrive not later than 12th October 2017 and it is requested that the grounds on which it is made are stated.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Essex County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections, which have been duly made and not withdrawn, will be sent with it.

(Ponders Road, Fordham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ponders Road, Fordham in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Halstead Road to its junction with Church Road, a distance of approximately 1694m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2231753 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sign installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Ponders Road, Halstead Road, Ford Street, Fordstreet Hill, Wood Lane, Porters Cottages, Fiddlers Hill, Mill Road, Church Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 14th September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Rush Green Road, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rush Green Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with The Green for a distance of approximately 20 m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2017 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM53776410 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacing manhole cover and frame in carriageway works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Rush Green Road, Tyler Avenue, Bluehouse Avenue, Jaywick Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 14th September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Crepping Hall Road, Wakes Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crepping Hall Road, Wakes Colne in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 338m south east of its junction with Fordham Road, Wakes Colne for a distance approximately 605 m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st August 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC11W000000IBB7PGNN - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacing damaged pole and overhead cable works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Crepping Hall Road, Jankes Green Road, Boarded Barn Road, Spring Gardens Road, Colchester Road, Vernons Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 31st August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Roberts Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Roberts Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Mersea Road for a distance approximately 20m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th September 2017 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000613913 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Military Road, Magdalen Street, St Botolphs Circus, Mersea Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 31st August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Sussex Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sussex Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Lexden Road to its junction with Endsleigh Court, a distance of approximately 220m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th September 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2232799 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Sussex Road, Endsleigh Court, Lockhart Avenue, Lexden Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 31st August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier Dated: 31st August 2017
