(Chitts Hill Level Crossing, Colchester)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (No.2)
Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chitts Hill Level Crossing, in the Parishes of West Bergholt, Eight Ash Green and Stanway in the Borough of Colchester for
a distance of 50 metres either side of the level crossing.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 5 February 2012 for 1 day between the hours of 01:00am to 06:30am, 12 February 2012 for 1 day between the hours of 01:00am to 06:30am, 19 February 2012 for 1 day between the hours of 01:00am to 06:30am and 26 February 2012 for 1 day between the hours of 01:00am to 06:30amor where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works on overhead lines are undertaken by Network Rail. The alternative route will be via Chitts Hill Road - Halstead Road -Spring Lane - Argents Lane - Chitts Hill Road and vice versa. Pedestrian access will be maintained during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 5 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Berechurch Road, Colchester)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Berechurch Road in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Mersea Road, south west to its junction with Nancy
Smith Close.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 6 February 2012 for 3 weeks or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install a sewer connection are undertaken by Anderson Construction. The alternative route will be via Napier Road - Circular Road North -Circular Road West - Circular Road South and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 6 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chapel Lane, West Bergholt)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Lane, West Bergholt in the Borough of Colchester, for a distance of 50 metres either side of the property known as
Brayvena.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 14 February 2012 for 3 days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install a new water connection are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Chapel Lane - Chapel Road - Queens Road - Bourne Road - Chapel Lane and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 14 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
