Remembering CAROL ANN MIDDLEDITCH On 23rd December 2013, my Wife of nearly 43 years, Mother to our only Daughter Sarah-Jane Mackenzie and Grandmother to our Grandsons Jack, Harry and new baby Oliver Fields (Sarah-Jane's partner's child), passed away peacefully at St Helena Hospice Colchester. Carol was a beautiful, devoted, loving and caring person to all that knew her. For many years Carol was working part-time serving customers at the Gt Horkesley Village Store where she made many many friends and acquaintances. On the 9th January 2014 over 200 people attended Carol's funeral service held at Colchester Crematorium. Since the funeral I am very pleased to announce that all the people who were kind enough to make a donation to St Helena Hospice in memory of Carol raised an incredible £2,145. Thanks to you all. It would be remiss of me not to mention the excellent and professional service given by the East of England Co-operative Funeral Service, Colchester. Special thanks to Andy Rose (conductor of Funeral) and Julie Low (Funeral Arranger) for their excellent input in making the day so very special. Carol, we all miss you so very much.
