Geoffrey Roy Edgar 'Ted' Rayner

RAYNER Geoffrey Roy Edgar `Ted' Aged 88 years Passed away peacefully at Colchester General Hospital on 4th January 2018. Loving Husband and Father. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service to be held at 1.00pm on Thursday 22nd February at All Saints Church, Fordham, CO6 3NL Followed by private committal for immediate family. Family flowers only please. Donations made payable to Andrew Rayner, in memory of Ted, will go towards provision of a bench at Fordham School c/o East of England Co-op Stanway Funeral Branch, Peartree Road, Colchester CO3 0LX

I have only just heard the sad news of my dear neighbour Ted. I moved across the road to Ted in 2007, Ted was so welcoming and thoughtful. He and Doreen were a lovely couple. We use to sit in their summer house with cups of tea and cakes made by Doreen putting the world to right. I shall miss him very much and thank you for being such a wonderful neighbour for the seven years I lived in Sunnyside. Janet Craven
