CARTER Andrew James (Chips) Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 10th September 2017. Loved and admired by so many and will be sadly missed by all. Funeral service to be held at Seven Hills Crematorium, Nacton, IP10 0FG on Monday 2nd October at 12.45pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired payable to 'Somersham Ward, Ipswich Hospital' All welcome.

This is Helen Gilbert, contacting you from California. I have lovely memories of Andy in Little Oakley, we lived a few houses down from him. Back in the 80s, I was the generation below his, but he always made time for the youngsters. I remember Andy used to be just a fun person to be around, I know everyone enjoyed his company.

Best wishes to everyone in Andy's family. I grew up knowing Gordon and I know how super close he is to his family. Poor Gordon must be heart broken.

I wish I could have been there to pay my respects but know I am thinking of you all.
