Police are investigating a parking row in a supermarket car park.
A Witham man in his 40s had his shoulder and wrist grabbed outside Morrisons in Braintree Road, Witham, at about 6pm on August 9.
The suspect was described as white, bald and muscular, aged in his 40s and more than 6ft tall.
He wore a short sleeved white shirt with blue pinstripes and blue jeans and it is believed that he had either very fair, or no, eyelashes and eyebrows.
The suspect was driving a metallic blue Jaguar with the letters HUB, or similar, in the registration plate.
The victim was driving a white van.
Police are investigating the incident as an assault.
