SINGER Kerrie Masters is on the verge of signing with a major record label.

Kerrie, 29, has spent the last few months recording her EP, One, which will be launched in Trafalgar Square next month.

It is understood representatives from major labels are keen on signing the single mum from Stanway, and Sony are at the front of the queue.

The launch comes three months after the singer-songwriter opened the UK G Chronicle show at Wembley Arena, which featured Kele Le Roc, the Special MCs, Miss Dynamite and Shola Ama. Kerrie is opening for Shola Ama tonight in London.
