Chirpy comes to the call of saviour Lucy
A WOMAN who found an abandoned swallow has nursed it back to health and taught it to respond to her calls.
Lucy White, 18, spotted the chick at stables in Dedham, where she works, and it did not leave her side for the next few weeks.
He needed feeding every 30 minutes so Lucy took him everywhere, including Tesco and Dominos pizza, wrapped in a scarf.
