TWO teenagers have been charged in connection with a mass brawl in Rowhedge.
Two police officers were injured when they tried to stop fighting between about 100 youths in the village hall car park in Rectory Road on Saturday, June 14 at 6pm.
Kyle Bergin, 19, of King George Road, Colchester, has been charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and using threatening or abusive behaviour.
He is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on July 18.
A boy, 15, from Colchester, has been charged with the same offences and will appear at Colchester Youth Court on July 23.
A boy, 17, has received a caution for being drunk and disorderly.
