Fire crews had extinguished the blaze by 4.10am
A CARAVAN was destroyed after a blaze broke out at Colchester's King Edward Quay this afternoon.
The inferno started just before 4pm today.
Firefighters reported the caravan was 100 per cent alight when they arrived at the scene.
Crews from Colchester and Wivenhoe had extinguished the fire by 4.10pm.
The cause has been recorded as accidental.
