A WOMAN is being pursued by debt collectors after conmen racked up a £13,000 mobile phone bill in her name.

Chelsie Johnson’s identity was stolen by fraudsters. They set up accounts with O2, Geek Squad, Vodafone and a personal finance company and bought 700 items from Argos in her name.

Nursery worker Chelsie, 21, and mum Tracey have been at loggerheads with operator EE for three months after she received £13,000 in bills for a mobile phone contract.

Despite having a crime reference number from police, the company enlisted two debt companies to try and get the money.
