Mystery surrounds death of "lovely" father-of-two discovered in flat

First published in News

Mystery surrounds the death of a “lovely” father-of-two whose body was found at his home after police received a call for concern.

Jason Willcocks, 35, of Warrenside, Braintree, had been dead for several days before being discovered on July 17.

It was heard at Mr Willcocks’s inquest opening that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death but it remains unclear how he died.

Friends of Mr Willcocks described him as being “willing to do anything for anyone”.

There used to be a lot of people like jason in the north essex areas. its a sign of the times that the majority of us are not like this anymore.
Sudden deaths or unexplained situations normally dictate a suicide or extenuating medical factors, or possible substance interference.
On a sad note it is a shame our personal local identity, has been eroded by the influx of settlers from other areas.
