TRIBUTES have been paid to the glamorous former Miss Colchester who had a heart of gold.
Bonnie Hiller died after her grey Mercedes convertible collided with a bridge on the London Road underpass in Kelvedon on Saturday evening.
The 27-year-old of Tiptree has been crowned as Miss Colchester and Miss East Anglia in 2009.
The former Thurstable pupil went on to pursue a career in modelling and worked with various boutiques in the Essex area.
Her dad Paul said: “She was a wonderful girl and a wonderful daughter who was very close to her mum and a joy to be with."
See today's Gazette for the full tributes.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to call 101.
