A WOMAN arrested in connection with the murder of Jim Attfield has been bailed again until Thursday.

A 27-year-old woman from Colchester answered bail today at Colchester Police Station.

She has been ordered to return again on Thursday however police declined to reveal what crime she has been arrested on suspicion of.

Officers carried out further searches along the riverside walk near Lower Castle Park this morning.

A spokesman for Essex Police confirmed nothing of significance was found.

Jim Attfield was found with 102 stab wounds.

The cordon, which had been in place since Mr Attfield was found on March 29, had been lifted yesterday.

He died a short time later.

His family and detectives have made numerous appeals for information to help catch his killers.
