A HEADTEACHER is backing a parent’s petition to get potholes repaired outside his school.
Helen Abrehart has launched the petition for action in Chapel Road, outside Stanway Primary School.
She says the pothole-ridden road causes drivers to swerve and could lead to an accident.
Mrs Abrehart, whose daughter Millie, nine, attends the school, said: “Everybody is moaning and can’t wait to sign the petition, because something has to be done.”
Headteacher Brian Combes says he is concerned about the terrible state of the road.
