A PUB landlord has reached the final of a national pie competition.
Mitch Adams, who runs the Thatcher’s Arms, in Mount Bures, came up with a winnning game pie recipe.
His slow-cooked diced venison, beetroot and juniper pie, with a stock including Poacher’s Choice ale, is one of eight finalists in the Badger Ales National Pie Competition.
The winners will be announced at the finals next Thursday in Bath.
