Police trace parent of lone boy, 3

The mother of a three-year-old boy found wandering alone in Colchester has been found.

Police issued an appeal for help after the boy was found walking in Barrack Street in his pyjamas and without shoes.

Following a public appeal, his mother was found.

Police inquiries into the incident are continuing.

Let us hope that both the mother and the child will now be cared for in the way that British people normally fare for each other.
