Tests fail to find why former Colchester schoolgirl died

In today's Gazette: The father of a former Colchester schoolgirl found dead at her home fears police will never find out how she died.
Police have tested numerous toxicology samples after finding the body of former Gilberd School student Lucy Simms, 26, but none has revealed the cause of death.
- A driver admitted being responsible for planks of wood falling from his truck and seriously injuring a pedestrian.
Stephen Szputma, 43, of Colchester, was travelling around a roundabout in Colchester when the wood swung out across the pavement and hit a man walking on the pavement.
- Colchester Council has pumped £4.7 million into projects to regenerate St Botolph's Quarter - but there is little to show for it.
A Freedom of Information request by the Gazette found the counckil has handed firms - consultants, surveyors and lawyers - hundreds of pounds since 2005.
