The star of a BBC reality TV show took over a Colchester night club to film the music video to his latest single.
Rapper Cream, who starred in BBC Three’s Boom Town, spent the day in Sky Rooms in High Street, putting together the video for his single We Run This.
As well as filming inside the club the crew took shots outside in the street, including some with a vintage car.
Cream, which stands for Cash Rules Everything Around Me, said: “Today has been fun. It has been very productive.
“There are some beautiful girls here.
“The video is going to be really good. The song is about taking over a city and the video goes along with it.
“It’s in the theme of a 1920s gangster movie.”
Boom Town, a six-episode series that aired last month, was a reality show that featured some of Britain’s more eccentric real life people.
Cream, who grew up in New York, started rapping at 14 and currently lives with his parents in Buckinghamshire.
The 42-year-old said: “I loved the show.
“It was great because we were part of something that was ground-breaking. It was completely different.
“No other channel had had this kind of reality show. It was structured but it wasn’t scripted.”
His new single is due to be released on iTunes in the next few weeks.
Michelle de Feo, who lives in Colchester, was one of the models who starred in the video.
She said: “It has been good but stressful. It has come along and I think everyone is happy.
“The song is really good. I think it is going to go far.”
