Help Roxi walk with toddle waddle fundraiser
11:49am Wednesday 25th September 2013 in News
A TODDLE waddle will raise funds to help a young cerebral palsy sufferer walk pain-free.
The 0.9 mile sponsored walk around Colchester’s Castle Park is raising cash for the Help Roxi Walk appeal.
Roxi’s parents, Joe Aldrich and Adi Martinkovicova, of New Town, Colchester, want to raise £50,000 to pay for life-changing surgery in the USA so Roxi can walk.
During the event, there will be a mini-picnic halfway round for younger children who cannot do the whole distance in one go.
The event takes at 10:30am on Saturday, and entrants should meet inside the main entrance to the park.
Children must be aged between 18 months and five years old and must be accompanied by an adult.
Entry should be confirmed in advance by emailing email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
