In today's Gazette: £10k studs to stop Firstsite skaters

In today's Gazette: Ten thousand pounds of Colchester taxpayers' money has been spent on 146 tiny metal studs.
The studs have been drilled into steps outside Colchester's Firstsite gallery to try to prevent skateboarders using them for tricks.
* Colchester's Dermot O'Leary is in the running for two National Television Awards.
The former Colchester schoolboy has been shortlisted for the award for best entertainment presenter and the X Factor, which he presents, has been nominated in the talent show category.
* A speed limit of 50mph is being introduced on a notorious stretch of the A120 - with promises a roundabout will also be installed.
* A mother has spoken of her terror after she was grabbed by the throat at a Colchester bus stop.
POlice are appealing for information after 20-year-old Joanna Lawrence was attacked in Avon Way, Greenstead.
