3D technology research by Essex Uni scientists
SCIENTISTS at Essex University hope to discover how the brain processes 3D films.
Although it is widely know the special glasses worn present two slightly different versions to each eye, the researchers want to find out how the brain is able to intepret the differences.
The £369,000 research project, set to last three years, has been funded by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.
As well as further improving 3D technology it is hoped the study could also help with therapies for lazy eye and squint conditions.
