Two men charged in relation to Jay's murder

TWO men have been charged with intending to pevert the course of justice in connection with the murder of Jay Whiston.
Unemployed Gary Redman, 51, and his student son John Redman, 19, both of Halstead Road, Colchester, were arrested in November 2012.
They have been charged with one count of intending to pervert the course of justice.
They are on police bail and will appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 3.
A 42-year-old woman from Colchester had been arrested in November 2012 on suspicion of assisting an offender.
She has been released from her bail and faces no charges.
Edward Redman, an 18-year-old man from Halstead Road in Colchester, is in custody prior to his six-week murder trial at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday, January 8, 2014.
