COLCHESTER United's League One game against Walsall at the Weston Homes Community Stadium is set to go ahead.
Fans have been lending a hand to clear overnight snow from the pitch since 9am this morning.
Temperatures beside the A12 are also on the rise and the relegation-threatened U's are hopeful the match will go ahead against the midlands club.
